About Christopher B. Kruse, MD
Dr. Christopher Kruse is a board-certified Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon who graduated from New York University (NYU) School of Medicine where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, a medical honor society. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital and his Dermatology residency at State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn, spending his last year as chief resident. Dr. Kruse practiced general Dermatology in both New York and New Jersey for three years before pursuing formal training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Dr. Kruse completed the prestigious post-doctoral fellowship in Mohs Micrographic & Reconstructive Surgery approved by the American College of Mohs Surgery, which requires its members to participate in at least a full year of training with hands-on experience after already completing a full four-year residency. Dr. Kruse also taught Dermatologic Surgery at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System in Brooklyn for many years. He is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Kruse has been practicing dermatology for over 15 years. As a Mohs surgeon, he prides himself on his precision and his extreme attention to detail.
