About Christine Jacobson, MD
A little about me: I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, moving to the East Coast for college at Princeton University. At Princeton, I majored in History. I didn’t discover that medicine was my calling until I participated in volunteer work at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., which is where I lived after graduating college. I then finished my pre-medical school courses at Harvard, and began at Stanford Medical School shortly thereafter. After completing an intern year at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco, I returned to Stanford for my Dermatology residency. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2013, though I previously worked at KP locations during my internship and later at times during my dermatology residency. I chose to work at KP now partially because I had such good experiences working at KP in the past, but also because I appreciate the integrated model of care that KP offers. My goal as your dermatologist is to work with you to care for your skin and to treat your skin ailments in the most effective way possible. I’m a believer in the Golden Rule, and I do my best to treat my patients how I would want to be treated. I enjoy the diversity of conditions that we see in our dermatology clinic, and I also love the diversity of our patient population. I am board certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology.
