About Chelsea Houthoofd, MD
Dr. Chelsea Houthoofd (pronounced hudoff) received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her dermatology residency at Michigan Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and has received advanced training in complex medical dermatology. This includes specialized training from experts in the fields of autoimmune bullous diseases and cutaneous lymphomas. She has special interests in the early detection and treatment of skin cancer as well as procedural dermatology with hands-on training in multiple surgical and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Houthoofd was born and raised in Saginaw and is excited to return to the Great Lakes Bay Region to care for the community she grew up in. Outside of the office, Dr. Houthoofd enjoys spending time with her husband and son through outdoor activities, traveling, and reading.
