About Charlotte H. Vuong, MD
Charlotte H. Vuong, MD is a board certified dermatologist. She graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology. She then received her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she was a Dean’s Scholar. Dr. Vuong completed her internship in internal medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and dermatology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center in New York. She was appointed Chief Resident during her final year of dermatology training and received the Leo M. Davidoff Award for outstanding achievement in teaching. Dr. Vuong is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the attending staff at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. Dr. Vuong specializes in general dermatology for adults and children, with particular clinical interests in acne, skin cancer detection, moles, eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis. She also performs skin rejuvenation procedures including Botox, dermal fillers, and laser treatments. She has published many dermatology manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals including Dermatologic Surgery, Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Cancer. Dr. Vuong is from Morris Plains, New Jersey and is a graduate of Whippany Park High School. She lives with her husband and enjoys running, trying new restaurants, and playing with her American Eskimo dog, Riley.
