About Chang B. Son, MD
Dr. Chang B. Son is the founder of SCN Dermatology. Born in Seoul, Korea, Dr. Son grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Son attended University of California at Berkeley where he received B.S. degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. He received medical degree from McGill University where he was the recipient of Elizabeth Lundden Award. He completed internship in Internal Medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital of the Harvard University. He completed dermatology residency at Yale University. Dr. Son is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr.Son is a frequent speaker at various community and academic meetings and has been published in various peer reviewed journals. He is fluent in English, Korean, and Portuguese. Dr. Son established the core philosophy of the SCN Dermatology which is to approach each patient with a ""tailored"" approach. He believes that each patient's medical or cosmetic concerns as well as their skin physiology are unique to individual patients. By applying broad scientific knowledge together with state-of- art technology, SCN Dermatology continuously strives to meet every patient's medical and cosmetic concerns.
