About Catherine Tisdall, MD
Dr. Catherine Tisdall received her medical degree and graduated with Honors in 2002 from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. She completed her residency training in Dermatology and served as Chief Resident at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She began her career as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical center where she was involved in medical student and resident education. In July 2007 she moved to San Antonio with her family and joined Dermatology San Antonio where she has since become partner in the practice. She is actively involved in dermatologic clinical research and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Tisdall practices general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology seeing patients of all ages. She has advanced training in the latest cosmetic techniques and products and offers a wealth of experience and training to all her patients. She enjoys providing care for the full breadth of dermatologic concerns including acne, psoriasis, patch testing, cosmetic procedures, and skin cancer detection and treatment. She is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Contact Dermatitis Society, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Texas Dermatological Society, and the San Antonio Dermatological Society. Dr. Tisdall has been named in Texas Monthly as one of the state’s “Rising Stars”, as well as being named in S.A. Scene as one of the “Best of 2013”. Dr. Tisdall has been named “America’s Top Dermatologist” by the Consumers Research Council of America since 2011 and has also received the “Patient Choice Award” three years running. When not at work her time is devoted to her husband and two kids.
