About Carolyn B. Lyde, MD
Dr. Carolyn Bryant Lyde enjoys practicing general dermatology with a focus on skin cancer. She has been selected as a best doctor in ""D Magazine"", a ""Top Doc"" in U.S. News, and received teaching awards from training dermatology residents as well as the dermatology community at large. Now in private practice, Dr. Lyde spent the formative part of her career as a faculty member at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where she published several peer reviewed scientific papers. College years were spent at University of Dallas, after graduating from a small high school in East Texas. Dr. Lyde attended medical school at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where she also obtained her dermatology residency training, and then joined the faculty. She started her own private practice in 1997 in Lewisville, Texas. Dr. Lyde is married to fellow medical school classmate, Dr. Paul Lyde.
