Dr. Chau feels strongly that patient education, individuality, honesty and careful surgical planning are the necessary components for successful outcomes of plastic surgery. It is important to take the time to educate the patients about their own unique anatomical and physiological differences between the patient’s own body make up and their desired result. When this is explained many patients become more realistic about what can and cannot be changed by plastic surgery. Each person has a unique physical appearance and self image as well as a desired level of change. This desire for improvement is carefully listened to and evaluated prior to surgery.
