About Brian M. Kleker, MD
I was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado. I attended Colorado State University where I majored in biology and minored in anatomy / neurobiology and Spanish. I attended medical school at the University of Colorado at Denver and completed my internal medicine and dermatology residencies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (Go Badgers!). I enjoy running, hiking, being outdoors, trying new restaurants, traveling, basketball, and spending time with my family and friends. I speak Spanish and hope to be able to use this skill with my members. I am currently working at the Kaiser Permanente La Mesa Medical Offices Dermatology Department. We have a friendly, efficient, well-trained team here who truly enjoy their jobs and strive to provide an optimal member experience. My goal is to provide the most effective, personalized, and evidence-based care to my members and their families. I find that exercise is not only good for my physical well-being but also my mental health. I try to run three times per week and supplement this with other activities, including hiking, swimming, and weight training.
