About Brent Taylor
Dr. Brent Taylor is a Board-Certified Dermatologist, a Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeon, and is certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine in the field of Phlebology. Dr. Taylor graduated Magna Cum Laude in three years from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemical Sciences. He attended Vanderbilt School of Medicine on a full, merit-based scholarship where he received his Doctorate of Medicine in 2009. He completed his Dermatology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2013 and continued his training during an ACGME-Accredited Fellowship in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. His fellowship training focused on Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer, and facial reconstruction, on cosmetic dermatology, and on treatments for venous insufficiency, including endovenous laser ablation and ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy. Dr. Brent Taylor is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American College of Phlebology and the American Venous Forum. He has published multiple articles in the field of dermatology including important research on Mohs surgery laboratory techniques.
