About Bindu Popat-Lewis, DO
Dr. Bindu Popat-Lewis’ extensive medical training and vision for her patients to improve their lives led her to create Revive Aesthetics and Wellness. Her background training in Physical Therapy led to Anesthesiology which then led to Pain Medicine. Combine that with her lifelong passion for total health and wellness… and you get Revive! Dr. Lewis wants all of her patients to enjoy a better quality of life. She trained with the inventor of the O-shot, P-shot and Vampire procedures so that she could offer these regenerative procedures to her patients. These procedures use platelet rich plasma derived from the patient’s own blood to regenerate tissue to help with urinary incontinence for women, erectile dysfunction for men and improve fine lines and wrinkles for the face. She also trained for Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). Dr. Lewis is currently enrolled in an anti-aging fellowship by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She is excited to care for the ‘whole person’ and believes that every person deserves to look and feel their best. Dr. Lewis earned her Bachelor of Health Science degree and Master of Physical Therapy degree from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She practiced physical therapy for 10 years at the William Clay Ford Center for Athletic Medicine, Henry Ford Health System, and William Beaumont Hospital. At Henry Ford Health System she had the pleasure to work with multiple orthopedic diagnoses but also with Detroit’s professional athletic teams, including the Red Wings. During her time at Beaumont Hospital, she was a part of the Women’s Health Advisory Board and she was active in treating women’s health issues including urinary incontinence. Dr. Lewis earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Anesthesiology and AOA-accredited fellowship in Acute and Chronic Pain Management at McLaren Hospital of Greater Lansing. She is board certified in Anesthesiology and Acute and Chronic Pain Management. Her special interests include musculoskeletal dysfunction, unresolved acute and chronic spine pain, pelvic pain, women’s health and regenerative medicine. And now, aesthetic regenerative medicine and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy through Revive Aesthetics and Wellness!
