He then proceeded through a rigorous 5 year surgery residency program at Kaiser Permanent in Los Angeles, California.Dr. Kim then proceed to complete his board certification in field of general surgery. These years laid the foundation for his extensive and specialized training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Which he completed at the Indiana University Medical Center in 2002. After completing his specialty training Dr. Kim received his second board certification in the specialty of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
