About Betty Bellman, MD
Dr. Betty Bellman was born in Montreal, Canada. She moved to Florida in 1981 and attended the University of Miami, where she earned her Bachelor of Science and majored in Biology and fine art. She completed her Medical degree at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine in 1991. After one year of internship in Internal Medicine, Dr. Bellman completed her first year fellowship in Dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian medical Center in New York City. She finished her Residency at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology & Cutaneous Surgery from 1993-5. Dr. Bellman is a board-certified Dermatologist and has been in private practice since 1995. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and an active member of the American medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the Dade County Medical Association and the Florida Society of Dermatology. She has given many lectures and has published over 25 journal articles/book chapters.
