About Benjamin Cohen, MD
Receiving his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine / New York State Program, Tel Aviv University in 1988, Dr. Cohen completed his internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City in 1991 and served as Chief Resident of internal medicine and associate fellow at Colombia University in new York City from 1991-1992. Dr Cohen completed his Dermatology residency at Wright State University of Medicine, Dayton, Ohio in 1995. Dr. Cohen is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has hosted a weekly radio talk show on NJ 94.3 The Point discussing topics ranging from skin cancer to the newest cosmetic applications with call in questions from listeners. Along with that he was the spokesperson for NJ Channel 12 discussing Skin Cancer Awareness and general skin care protection. Dr. Cohen has been quoted in the top women’s magazines including Allure, Vogue, InStyle and Self magazines. Dr. Cohen is a supporter of skin cancer awareness, and donates his time every year to various organizations for skin cancer screenings.
