About Austin Cope, MD
Dr. Austin Cope earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Dixie State University in St. George, Utah. He earned an MBA from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He completed an internship at Tucson Medical Center and a dermatology residency at the University of Utah. “Dermatology is the perfect fit for my personality,” Dr. Cope says. “I love to talk with people and get to know them. I love to help people with problems that are meaningful for them.” He received injection training in Calgary, Canada, with Dr. Kent Remington, a renowned cosmetic dermatologist. Dr. Cope is especially interested in improving the effects of aging with volume restoration, skin resurfacing, correction of pigmentation and more. “I also love treating acne in young people as this has tremendous implications for physical, mental, and emotional well-being,” Dr. Cope says. Dr. Cope speaks fluent Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish. He enjoys international travel when time allows. He and his wife are excited to return to Tucson and become active members in the community. They have five children.
