Originally from Canada, Dr. Ignatiuk completed 2 years of orthopedic surgery residency training in London, Ontario and 4 years of plastic surgery residency training in Ottawa, Ontario before completing a prestigious hand and microvascular surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. After practicing at the University of Colorado, Denver for almost 3 years, Dr. Ignatiuk has now joined the Division of Plastic Surgery as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery. With his diverse training and experience, Dr. Ignatiuk is capable of treating a wide variety of conditions throughout the body but is primarily known for adult and pediatric hand/wrist surgery, microvascular surgery, extremity salvage, and peripheral nerve surgery. Dr. Ignatiuk also has extensive experience in breast reconstruction, body contouring, and oncological reconstruction.
