About Aron Gewirtzman, MD
Aron Gewirtzman, MD was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He attended college at Boston University where he graduated magna cum laude and was selected as the graduation speaker for his biology department. He continued at Boston University for medical school before moving to Virginia for internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Upon completion of internship, Dr. Gewirtzman moved to Houston, Texas where he served both as a dermatopharmacology research fellow at the Center for Clinical Studies as well as the first research fellow for the Dermatological Association of Texas. Following his year in Houston, Dr. Gewirtzman was recruited to Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York where he helped expand the clinical trials unit for the Division of Dermatology. Dr. Gewirtzman remained in NY to complete his dermatology residency training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was selected as chief resident during his final year. During fellowship and residency, Dr. Gewirtzman published 14 journal articles, 10 book chapters, and presented 10 posters or abstracts at national and regional meetings in addition to participating as sub-investigator and study coordinator in over 20 clinical trials. Dr. Gewirtzman is a board certified dermatologist who performs medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, as well as serves as an investigator for clinical studies. In his spare time, Dr. Gewirtzman enjoys cooking, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with his family.
