About Arlene M. Ruiz De Luzuriaga, MD
Arlene M. Ruiz de Luzuriaga, MD, MPH is board certified in dermatology and dermatopathology and has served on the dermatology faculty at the Cleveland Clinic and University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Ruiz completed her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University and obtained her medical education at Duke University. She completed her dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship training at the University of Chicago. Before joining our practice, Dr. Ruiz’ employment history includes Assistant Professor of Medicine, Associate Residency Director and Director of Operations for Dermatopathology at the University of Chicago. Prior to that she was a member of the associate staff at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio in the department of Dermatology. She is an active member of the AAD, the AAD Expert Resource Group for Quality and Patient Safety, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and is a Castle Connolly Exceptional Women in Medicine Award recipient. She is available to treat patients at the Palos Heights location.
