About Anita Osmundson, MD
Dr. Anita Osmundson specializes in skin cancer treatment, Mohs surgery, pediatric and general dermatology. Dr. Anita Osmundson is an experienced board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. She grew up in Minnesota where she received her undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota before earning her medical degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. She then completed an internship and dermatology residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After finishing her residency in dermatology, she completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery in Tulsa, Oklahoma under the direction of Dr. Edward Yob. She is board certified in dermatology by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology and is a fellow member of the American Society of Mohs Surgery and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She has published articles in various medical journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and has lectured at numerous meetings around the country. Dr. Osmundson believes in family values & service to her community. She volunteers her time by performing free skin cancer screenings for the National Skin Cancer Foundation - Road to Healthy Skin, and has spoken on behalf of the National Skin Cancer Foundation for articles published in the Asbury Park Press regarding sun safety. Dr. Osmundson currently resides at the Jersey Shore with her husband and two daughters.
