About Andrew M. Marcus, DMD
After completing his dental education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1998, Dr. Andrew Marcus was accepted into one of the top 100 Hospitals in the country, Staten Island University Hospital, for a Dental Residency Program. During his training through dental school and his residency, Dr. Marcus was awarded several accolades, including a 'Certification of Excellence in Restorative Dentistry' and was presented an award 'In Recognition of Excellence In Scholarship in Dental Materials' by the Academy of Dental Materials. After attaining his General Practice Residency Certification from Staten Island University Hospital in 1999, Dr. Marcus began his private practice career in Stratford, Connecticut with A. Goldberg Dental Associates, P.C.. Even though this Connecticut practice was over 60 miles away from his residence in New York City, Dr. Marcus was so taken by the professionalism and patient dedication to the practice, that he commuted for over 3 years. Finally Dr. Marcus and his family made the move to Connecticut and is a permanent fixture in the community. Dr. Marcus is a member of The American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association and the Bridgeport Dental Association. As a member of The Fairfield County Dental Study Club, a leading dental study society, Dr. Marcus accumulates over 40 hours of continuing education per year. Over the past three years, Dr. Marcus has been voted by his dental colleagues in Connecticut Magazine as one of Connecticut's Best Dentists. In his free time, Dr. Marcus enjoys fishing and diving and is a salt water aquarium enthusiast. These days there is not much free time on his hands! Dr. Marcus and his wife Bonnie are very busy with their three boys, Benjamin, Joshua and Asher.
