About Amena Deluca, MD
Amena DeLuca, MD is a board-certified Dermatologist who specializes in Mohs surgery. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Arizona State University. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Arizona. During Medical School, she pursued a one-year research fellowship in melanoma genetics at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, MD, she went on to complete her residency training in Dermatology at Johns Hopkins, where she was selected to serve as the Chief Resident in her last year of training. She then completed a fellowship specializing in Mohs surgery and cosmetic procedures at California Skin Institute. She has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed articles on cutaneous oncology. She is a member of The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Her main interests lie in Mohs surgery as well as General Dermatology, lasers, and cosmetic procedures. In her free time, she enjoys exploring all the outdoor activities our area has to offer
