About Amanda Wolthoff, MD
Amanda Wolthoff, MD, is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and has interests in a wide range of clinical practices, including wound care and healing, effects of diabetes, use of lasers, and preventive skin care. Dr. Wolthoff is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where she was an Honor Scholar, and she earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She served as an internal medicine intern at Texas Health Resources Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas and a dermatology resident at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. She was chief resident of dermatology at Texas Tech. She has a strong commitment to the community. As an undergraduate, she worked with the American Red Cross. While in San Antonio, she established a student-run skin care clinic to provide free medical care to the homeless and residents of a correctional facility. Dr. Wolthoff is a dedicated to continuing education and to helping fellow physicians, with a strong history of research, case reports, and presentations. She has worked in private practice in the Dallas area since 2013 and has earned a reputation for excellence in compassionate patient care. Wellness is a lifestyle that she demonstrates and teaches to her family, friends, patients and their families. She is a daily user of do TERRA essential oils. She believes that essential oils can be a great addition to the conventional western medicine to help heal common skin conditions. She was elected to the medical advisory panel of Do TERRA in early 2017, and is actively involved in helping to create physician protocols utilizing peer reviewed clinical studies. In her free time, she enjoys staying active with snow skiing, water sports, yoga, reading for pleasure, and watching professional and college sports.
