About Alyssa J. Miceli, DO
Dr. Alyssa J. Miceli is a Board Certified Dermatologist. She is certified by The American Board of Dermatology and is an active member in the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Miceli earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated summa cum laude. She then obtained Master of Science and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degrees at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. There, she was the recipient of an academic medicine scholarship and spent an additional year teaching medical students and performing research. She completed her internship at University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH and then completed her residency training in dermatology at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL, where she served as chief resident in her final year. During her residency, Dr. Miceli was honored with the American Academy of Dermatology Award for Excellence in Patient Care and received several research grants. Dr. Miceli is the author of many academic publications and presentations. She practices general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
