About Alison Ali, Aesthetician Specialist
Alison Ali is Persona’s Aesthetic Director and Senior Medical Aesthetician with more than 20 years of experience in the aesthetic field. Originally from the UK, Alison pursued her education at many reputable schools including Portsmouth University and School of Art and Design where she graduated with distinction, San Jacinto College, and Austin School of Medical Aesthetics. After completing her Aesthetic Licensure in Texas and practicing for many years, Alison studied and received her Advanced Medical Aesthetic Certification in 2003. Alison is a facial expert experienced in both traditional facial services as well as Laser Hair Removal, Photofacial, Refirme, skin tag removal, Micropigmentation, Dermaplaning, lash extensions, acne management, chemical peels, Microdermabrasion, Diamond Dermabrasions, tattoo removal, and scar reduction. A pioneer in the next generation of skin treatments, Alison has worked diligently to develop cutting edge, state of the art facial treatments that deliver the medical results with minimal to no downtime within the tradition of a ‘spa’ facial. Persona is proud to be the only facility currently offering this new age defying generation of facial treatments. But even more important than her impressive education and experience is the fact that Alison provides each client with a one-of-a-kind appointment by using her own “four-point plan.” She assesses the clients’ goals and needs, conducts a professional evaluation, considers home care options, and provides a unique, long and short term treatment plan. As such, Alison has developed a loyal following throughout the city. Her discretion and professionalism have made her popular with Houstonians and she has been labeled a socialite “must have.” Featured in the Houston Chronicle and voted Best Facial by Paper City magazine, she remains one of the top aestheticians in the country. Alison has been with Persona since the spa opened and, although she is a busy mom of three, she finds time to continue research and education in the field of aesthetics and her passion for what she does is evident to clients and colleagues alike.
