About Alexis L. Young, MD
Dr. Alexis Young specializes in dermatology. Dr. Young completed her internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center and residency in dermatology at Columbia University Medical Center. She advanced her training by completing a fellowship in dermatopathology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Montefiore Medical Center. She practices at Forest - Dermatology. Dr. Young is board certified in dermatopathology by the American Board of Dermatology and is affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center. Before completing her residency training, she attended Columbia University, where she completed her medical degree. Dr. Young has been awarded a prestigious fellowship to study melanoma genetics and has received many honors including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
