About Alan Kisner
Dr. Alan Kisner has been obtaining beautiful, natural results for his patients for nearly 30 years. His outstanding surgical skills, welcoming bedside manner, and extensive plastic surgery experience have not only earned him recognition from his professional peers, but they have also made him a popular choice for patients in Manhattan and other nearby New York communities. These patients come to his practice in Huntington seeking a safe, rewarding cosmetic surgery experience. Raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr. Alan Kisner graduated from The University of the Witwatersrand and received his medical degree from the New York State Education Department. He then completed a general surgery residency and a plastic surgery residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr. Kisner has also worked with some of the top surgeons in the nation, including Mr. I. Jackson and Mr. Ian McGregor of Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow, studying cranial and facial anomalies, cleft palate, and deformities of the hand. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (F.R.C.S.) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.), Dr. Alan Kisner is licensed by the District of Columbia and the state of New York, board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons, and a member of a number of reputable professional organizations. These include the Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the New York Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Nassau County Medical Society, the Suffolk County Medical Society, the American Cleft Lip and Palate Society, and the Aesthetic Society of America.
