About Alan Fligiel, MD
Dr. Alan Fligiel trained in New York where he completed medical school at the State University of New York followed by a residency in otolaryngology at New York University. After serving in the U. S. Navy at a regional naval hospital as chief of EENT and then practicing in California, Dr. Fligiel decided to pursue training in dermatology. He completed his dermatology residency at Wayne State University in 1984. Since that time he has continued to teach dermatology at Wayne State University where he is a Clinical Associate Professor. He practiced as a board certified dermatologist at his own office for nearly thirty years. Dr. Fligiel enjoys seeing people of all ages and seeks to help them manage the entire range of skin problems. He looks forward to meeting you at our Brighton location.
