About the Procedure

Theradome is an at-home treatment that can help individuals suffering from hair thinning or hair loss improve the thickness and health of their hair. Theradome is a helmet that uses laser energy to stimulate the blood supply to damaged hair follicles, improve hair thickness, reduce shedding, and stimulate hair growth. Other methods of hair restoration such as minoxidil, finasteride, and dutasteride can also be used while using the Theradome. The ideal time for treatment is right after a shower after towel drying hair. Simply place dome on head and turn the unit on. Treatments last 20 minutes and are FDA approved to be done twice weekly. If patient's choose to use the Theradome more than twice per week, it is recommended to wait at least 12-24 hours between treatments. Regular activities can be resumed immediately after treatment.

The goal of Theradome is to reduce hair miniaturization and increase hair growth and thickness.
