Dr. Monasebian believes that on-going education, for himself and his staff, is essential to providing the best possible care for his patients. Dr. Monaesbian is Dual Board-Certified and a Diplomate of both The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Monasebian’s office based surgical facility, Park Avenue Specialty Care, L.L.C., is certified by JCAHO, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations as an office-based Surgical Facility. Dr. Monasebian believes strongly in performing surgery in the safest possible environment for his patients. Additionally, Dr. Monasebian’s has authored many clinical and research articles. He has lectured nationally on both Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a instructor and professor of plastic surgery at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. He is on staff at many of New York City’s most prestigious hospitals including Mt. Sinai Medical Center, St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital and New York University’s Downtown Hospital.
